David Puzey (the creative driving force behind Strange & Gentle Things), has worked in the design industry for over 25 years and has worked for some of the most iconic global brands in the world.

His early career at Vogue, Tatler and Island records allowed his love of fashion and music to flourish. Setting up his design studio in Hoxton Square he was fortunate to be in the right place at the right time. Everything in Hoxton was new and fresh. The new illustrators, artists and creatives were breaking all of the rules and the White Cube gallery a constant source of inspiration.

David brings all of his passions and influences to his work. Mixing photography with acrylic and watercolour overlays and torn pages from the magazines of his youth.

Strange & Gentle Things is not restrained by a style or medium but embraces all that is creative.
